War: The Sword to Fight

(Follow the journey of Akhil’s life with the epic wars)

Akhil is the second-year student studying Accounting and Finance in the PSG Colleges of Coimbatore…Being a reputed college in Coimbatore, Akhil proved his best in the college and is the topper of the semester exams.

Akhil has a distinctive works in the college, besides focusing on academics. He is a part of NCC from first-year, which he missed on childhood because of his father, with whom, now he has a strained relationships in current period of times.

Akhil never tries to be close with anyone especially with woman, whom he considers as a fear and threat for his career and this is often criticized by his friends who scolds him for having a bad thoughts against women.

But, according to Akhil’s mentality, he needs to do something which is useful to this society, other than being selfish and responsible for his family and friends alone, which is the positive mindset for Akhil.

His ideology is the inspiration for some young students of 12th and 11th students, who supports him a lot. Akhil intends to join Indian Army and he wishes to be like Subash Chandra Bose, who leaded Indian Freedom Movement through Violence as well as by non-violent principles, with Gandhi’s ideologies…

Akhil decides to gain more knowledge about the Indian History and hence, he meets a reputed and aged journalist named, Sivadhanusa Pillai in Coimbatore with the help of his friend, Ishika, who takes him to the man…

The journalist gives Akhil his novel named, “The Great Warriors of India” on seeing the patriotic nature of Akhil and he requests him to read the whole history of books, which is of minimum 600 pages and may take Two days to complete the reading of book…

Akhil thanks Ishika and he goes to his house where he marks the day as #Day 1. Now, Akhil starts to open the book, in which the first chapter of 300 pages is about the Warriors of Tamil Nadu… Follows the empire of Cholas, Cheras and Pandyas…They are the biggest assets of Tamil Nadu…

Cholas are headed by Raja Rajendra-I while Cheras are headed by Ravindra-I and Pandiyas are headed by AdiVeerapandiyan. Raja Rajendra-I has fought 6 battles with his rival kingdoms near Madurai, Tirunelveli, Dindugal and Karur and he is called as the “Savior of Cholas.”

Cholas had been developed with six canal systems with five lakes and the trading business is good after which, this causes jealousy among the people of neighboring and these challenges are also faced by the Cholas through “Battles of Madurai, Tirnelveli and Karur”

Cholas became stronger mainly in the Eastern parts of Tamil Nadu under the various small empire peoples besides Raja Rajendra. The unity of people were the main assets for the successful lives of Cholas.

Coming to the part of Chera dynasty, which conspires the parts of Western Tamil Nadu (consisting of Erode, Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem). Here, Erode and Trichy are arid places which are controlled by the sons of Ravindra-I and since that, “the lakes and canals were built and inter-linked, these places are greenery and the rivers which flows into these regions too, remains perennial…”

People are always united and happy by doing their trading activities…The main merits of Chera, Chola and Pandiya kingdoms are they trains up the younger children generations in the martial arts skills especially, under “Kalari, Valari, Silambam, Adimurai, Maduvu, Vatakkiruttal”…which comes below through the photos, explaining about some of the martial arts training at the times of Chera, Cholas and Pandiya kingdoms…

These trainings of Martial arts were strengthened by the Rulers of the Trio dynasties when the invaders from Turkish and other parts of Asia increased…While the other parts of India had easily been captured, some parts of South India and Central parts of India, remained difficult to get captured by the invaders mainly because of the biggest strength of the martial arts training…

However, after the British people arrived, they destructed the main martial arts skills such as Adimurai and banned the peoples to practice it. Besides such passing, South Kerala remained to train their generations in the skills…

Akhil completes up to this and he decides to practice Martial arts skills during the semester leaves going to South Kerala naming it as a trip, so that it will be useful for his Army joining…

Day 2 comes and Akhil marks it#. Now, he starts to read the second part which tells about the warriors of North India especially at the British periods…

After the British rulers started to show their cruel nature to the Indian People, the anger against them raised up to some people, in India…The slavery and the raising up of child labor and money lending business with the Zamindars also, raised a fueled anger to the people…After the periods of 1890 and 1910’s, the groups led by Mahatma Gandhi on one sides and Subash Chandra Bose on the other sides, decides to get independence on their own ways…

While Mahatma Gandhi wants to follow Non-Violence, Subash Chandra Bose wanted to follow Violence and the journalist has further explained what happened and who won the ideologies…Gandhi has done Civil Disobedience movement, Quit India Movement and these were all successful…In reality, the reason for Indian Freedom was because of Nethaji(N. Subash Chandra Bose), who has met Adolf Hitler in Germany…

Here, an interesting incident comes up when Subash Chandra Bose met Hitler…A five men wearing the face mask of Hitler came up to Subash Chandra Bose. However, Subash doesn’t responds to them. When the final man comes and stands with Subash Chandra Bose, he gave hands to Hitler.

When Hitler asked Subash Chandra Bose, “How did he know that, it was he?”

Nethaji replied, “A great warrior who has fought in various countries will never sit behind anyone.” Impressed, Hitler decides to help Subash Chandra Bose and he orders the British about the conditions to free India and fearing to the terror words of Hitler…

However, before going from India, the British officials creates a ruckus between Muslims and Hindus, leading to the formation of Pakistan…

1.)Subash Chandra Bose and Hitler in Germany…

The journalist’s final message reveals, “India got freed up because of Mahatma Gandhi and Subash Chandra Bose’s tireless efforts. But, Pakistan got separated from India, because of the carelessness of some Indian leaders…” Akhil feels impressed on reading the books and he hands it to the aged journalist and seeks his blessings telling that, “He is going to get trained in the Martial arts, travelling to South Kerala” and he seeks blessings from him… But, before that, Akhil plans to complete his final year and after being graduated, he decides to follow up his training…

And for the first time, Akhil speaks with his father after a long times, which makes him feel happier and after the final year, Akhil and his father reunites. After hearing the desires of Akhil, his father allows him and motivates him never to give up his fight and asks him to be stronger…

Akhil travels to South Kerala’s districts, Kannur, Mallapuram, Kozhikode, Thrissur and Eranakulam. Here, Akhil travels to Athirapally waterfalls, Idukki dam and Bharathapuzha rivers, where he takes the photos of it and gains experiences on the cultures of Kerala and gets attached to it…

some of these places proved to be a memorable journey for Akhil, when he was in Kerala for the Martial arts training…Akhil learned Adimurai, Kalari and Valari skills with Silambam also a part for one and a half years and after this, he decides to join in the Indian Military academy for getting trainings in Kerala, which he takes part for two years and he is also one of the guys to get selected for the Indian Army due to his physical strength…

However, a tragedy happens in Kerala and due to a terrorist attacks in Thrissur, 144-act and Total lockdown is issued in Kerala for the safety measurement and Akhil decides to prove his worth at this golden period of times…He decides to serve the country by making the peoples of Muslims and Hindus united when the terrorists land in Kerala at any time…

Akhil teaches up the small children of Kerala about the Martial Arts skills and motivates them to be patriotic and vigilante for the country’s welfare. In Importance, they should never lose hopes at any periods of time…

During the 3-weeks quarantine, the Kerala Government manages to catch down the terrorists and in final, they are killed by the Police officers, when they attempts to do anything that is terror…Akhil is praised for his efforts to train up the young children on Martial arts and his praising efforts of motivation makes the government impressed…

Akhil is made as the Major for Indian Army…Besides that, he is asked to work as a Secret agent for Indian Army and is made a part of Defence Intelligence Agency, which should be unknown to his close relatives and family members. The main reason for his inclusion is because of his extreme patriotism and immense welfare for the country…

When Akhil’s senior commander gives him an undercover mission to trap terrorists hiding in Pakistan with evil plans to destroy India at the eve of Independence day, Akhil agrees…When the Commander asks him to remember the operation and not to divert Akhil replies, “The Sun never sets, sir” and goes from him after saluting implying that, “He will be patriotic and protective for the nation’s welfare.”

When Akhil sees the Indian Flag on his way, he salutes the flag, implying that he will return to India, only after capturing the terrorists…Akhil further prays to Subash Chandra Bose’s photo in his phone and he starts to walk from the place to Pakistan as the sun starts to have an exile…so that he might have a proper time to war against the terrorists with his sword, with which he has to fight with them and also by using his mind games and martial arts skills…
