THE EVIDENCE OF SIN

THE EVIDENCE OF SIN

I have looked at the blame
A man has purge himself free and innocent
For he knows not pain nor labor
They journey in which two took to route
On the road of pleasure
In steps of passion and desire
Thrilling laughter and charming comfort
He now knows not consent-
As of her
The swollen flesh
The swollen gift of life
The evidence of sin

He has denied it,
It wasn’t him
No, it wasn’t him!
How could he do such a sin?
She knows where it came from
The cross she carries
The sin she bears
The swollen belly
The swollen innocence of guilt
The evidence of sin

He has fears still,
How long will he run away?
Her tears haunt him
The child calls him,
But isn’t he strong?
It still isn’t his
She vowed to pleasure
Thus came the seed of sin
The swollen child
The swollen being
The evidence of sin

Shame is his’
Shame is hers
He will carry the guilt,
She will carry the burden
Man and wife apart
Bitterness in question
‘Of whom am I?’
The seed shall ask
Darkness in the wake of light
The planted seed
The growing truth
The evidence of sin
